Joe Biden’s Secret Oval Office TV

Published Fri, 22 Nov 2024 10:40:37 GMT

Joe Biden’s Secret Oval Office TV Eli Stokols is a White House correspondent and co-author of West Wing Playbook. We might never again have a president like Donald Trump, a reality TV star who spent hours in the Oval Office watching TV and reacting in real time to coverage of himself. But while he can’t match his predecessor’s compulsive appetites, that doesn’t mean Joe Biden isn’t obsessed with the media in his own way. He’s not just an avid media consumer (yes, there’s a TV hidden in the Oval Office), he’s also very attuned to how the media portrays him and is likely to get miffed over critical coverage and the media’s myopic focus on breaking news over the big picture. He’ll call up his favorite writers and columnists and he pays close attention to the number of people defending him on TV.On this weekend that celebrates the long history of chronicling the most important office in America, we thought we’d find out how the current occupant of the White House consumes the work of those who regard him so relentlessly....

Instead, they’re left with grief.“It was magical and it was just the four of us, party of four, just  plodding along and our worlds were just turned upside down,” Linda said.On the last day of vacation, Cassidy convinced her dad to go tubing. Instant analysis of Ravens drafting Clemson linebacker Trenton Simpson in third round Here’s what The Baltimore Sun staff had to say immediately after the Ravens drafted Clemson linebacker Trenton Simpson with the No. 86 overall pick in the third round of the NFL draft on Friday night.Childs Walker, reporter: Trenton Simpson is an excellent value pick for the Ravens, carrying a borderline first-round grade from some analysts. His production at Clemson did not always match his physical ability, but 6-foot-2, 235-pound linebackers who run the 40-yard dash in 4.43 seconds aren’t easy to find. Simpson, who played both inside and outside in college, was the best prospect available on ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr.’s board. This pick will raise questions about Patrick Queen’s future in Baltimore, with the Ravens’ deadline to pick up Queen’s fifth-year option coming up Monday. But Eric DeCosta followed his credo of best player available.Mike Preston, columnist: Trenton Simpson appears to be a solid all-around linebacker who can cover receiver...
